Worst experience

Worst place to stay in, we had one night booking and found a massive scorpion in our room. Obviously left the room in a hurry and explained the situation to the receptionist but they didnt care and didnt offer any kind of refund. We were left to find another hotel. İ wrote a review on hotels.com and after a few days Heritage Cave Suites called me and told me they would give me a refund and if i could delete the review. İ accepted. Waited for my refund i realised they meant İF i delete the review they would refund the money. Literal blackmail. İ couldnt delete the review if i wanted to, but regardless they should have given me a refund as we did not stay there and it was not our fault they dont pest control their rooms.

PERFECT VACATION 🧳✨🎈

We were aiming to book a hotel in Göreme since it’s the center of tourism in cappadocia, but fortunately we mistakenly book Heritage Cave Suites. The staff is so generous, helpful and super friendly ❤️ The hotel management organized daily trips for us and according to my local friend they were x10 better than other firms. A special thank you to Mr Sancak the hotel manager 🙏 (I hope I didn’t misspell his name) 😅

Great hotel with great rooftop area

This hotel is very beautiful and the room was excellent. We only stayed there one night in a family room with one queen bed and 2 single beds. The bathroom was great and shower was warm even with 4 people each taking a long shower. You definitely need a car to get to this hotel at it's far from the city center. We enjoyed that it was far from the city. The hotel has a beautiful roof top with comfortable seating. There was tea and coffee in the lobby all the time. There is a resident cute dog named Linda that lives in the hotel. She was the highlight of our trip as she was so cute. I gave this hotel a 4 star for the following: (1) I had booked the hotel through Capital One Travel for 4 people including breakfast. I contacted the hotel 3 weeks before arrival and they told me my reservation is for 3 people with no breakfast and they wanted an extra 20 Euros. I called Capital One Travel as my reservation was non refundable. Capital One Travel called the hotel and then I got contacted by the hotel saying that they will give us the family room for 4 people with no extra charge. This is exactly what I had booked so I'm not sure why they said my reservation was for 3 people and I needed to pay more (2) there were some rotten whole fruits at the breakfast. For a country where fruit is plenty and cheap, I'm surprised the hotel would serve rotten fruit to their guests. (3) the Wi-Fi kept on disconnecting and we had to ask the hotel to reset the modem. But this is a remote area of Turkey so maybe that's not the hotel's fault. Overall, we had a great time in the area and we enjoyed our cave room. We will stay in this hotel again.
