Best hotel I have been to in 50 years of travelling

We were treated like royalty off I can’t praise the staff at this hotel enough I have traveled the world but the people in this hotel I would give ten stars hotel is on the beach ten stars for cleaning also for food one chef even made a fish dish for my husband I don’t think I will be going anywhere else but this hotel in the future it was absolutely beautiful

The cleanest hotel I’ve EVER stayed in, with impeccable standards!

I arrived really late, on the first day of opening for the summer season. It was raining heavily and I was tired. I reported a few little issues which were all impressively fixed within the hour. The hotel has grown on me. It’s relatively small. I’m well travelled and have never stayed anywhere so spotlessly clean. Everywhere is immaculate. All of the staff, no matter what their position, work tirelessly to provide such a professional and impeccable service. They’re all in a smart uniform and all a credit to the hotel. The food is so fresh and plentiful. Even the snack bar cooks food to order, which is so refreshing after staying in hotels where the food sits there for hours drying out! The cheese toasties are delicious! I had a 130 minute spa treatment. I was treated like a queen! Thank you Lena and team. Unfortunately there IS the issue of the construction work next door, which the noise at times has driven me to distraction, but this should not detract from this lovely hotel. I’m a solo, female traveller and I’ve felt completely safe and comfortable and have been made to feel really welcome and looked after. To sit down to breakfast, lunch and dinner and be asked what I’d like to drink has been wonderful. To sit at the snack bar and to be waited on was a luxury - as opposed to all other AI hotels I’ve ever stayed at, which are bedlam! It’s all serene and calm and everything is labelled. The cleaner has left fresh flowers in my room, has made shapes with the bedding and flowers - she takes such pride in her work, has totally respected my peace and quiet when I’ve had lie ins and has really looked after me. The sheets have been changed every other day, the towels daily and floors mopped throughout. I could go on and on praising this hotel. They’ve got it all down to a ‘T’ ….. Restocked mini bar in the room, ice creams, English TV channels, lovely cocktails, the hot rainfall shower ….. ! Would I stay here again - YES, without a doubt. My only niggles would be it fronts onto a busy dual carriageway, so it took me a while to get used to the traffic noise. The sea facing corner rooms are reserved for guests booking directly with the hotel. The cappuccino in the Terrace bar is lukewarm. The room decor looks dark and dated (but doesn’t detract from the comfort and cleanliness). I’m an ex manager of a large independent travel agent, so like to think I have experience. If you want the noise, sports, disco, entertainment, staff with whistles trying to get guests to compete etc, stay somewhere else! Here it’s respectful, chilled, lovely up to date English music playing in the background, plush sun-bed cushions …. It is all a delight. Thank you to you all. You’re all stars!
